Attention software developers! You can 'RSM-Enable' your applications with almost no effort. We have a very simple API which would allow your application to create customized RSM data and deliver it to the RSM Publisher Service to post to your customized RSM monitor. Not only that, but your custom monitor will automatically inherit ALL of the great features already present like RSM Alerts, Proxy Logins, Reports, etc.

This example screenshot shows the Remote Services Monitor viewing stations which are posting customized data produced by a few of HermeTech's EasyHL7 suite of medical messaging applications which are 'RSM-Enabled'. Compare the example shown above with the normal RSM monitor window (click here). You will notice immediately that the toolbar is different (there's an extra button 'EasyHL7'). You'll also notice that the data shown in the viewport is different (click here to see the normal viewport), there's more data! In the example (and since the applications being monitored deal with sending and receiving messages between medical systems) there are columns for messages sent/received, acknowledgements sent/received, negative acknowledgements sent/received etc.
Use your imagination, this could be YOUR data from almost any kind of application, sales figures, inventory figures, point of sale info, employee timesheets, shipping and delivery on-time statistics, GPS location information for mobile stations (shipping, trucking, delivery etc). Your application already has the data (that's the hard part), exporting it to be posted by the RSM Publisher Service is the easy part!

For the Client (stations) running the RSM Publisher Service
| • | The RSM Publisher service setup is even easier. Since there are no RSM Profiles to install, the clients do nothing but install the RSM Publisher Service and start it, that's it! When your application produces RSM data, it's automatically picked up, validated and posted to your monitor. |
What is the REAL cost to you?
| • | Normal RSM Membership Fees. There are NO additional or hidden charges for stations posting custom RSM data (see billing and fees). |
| • | RSM-Enabling your application(s). Cost Unknown. You will modify your application(s) to produce a short XML data file in a specific format and save it to a specific location with a specific naming convention periodically (RSM stations post data every 10 minutes). We supply the format and even supply programming components with callable methods and properties which you can use OR we can simply provide instruction on how to do it yourself. Typically, this should NOT be an intrusive addition to your existing software. |
| • | One-time development costs. You will have to pay a one-time development charge to RSM for configuring our server to recognize and accept your RSM data and updating the RSM application to display your new monitor, plus development of any customized reports (optional). All of this development is done at time and material costs at NZ$100.00 per hour and typically would not go beyond 2-5 man days (16-40 hours). |
| • | How about NO CHARGE? If you are adding RSM-Reporting as an additional marketing feature for your product(s). Meaning that your customers then register and become active RSM Members themselves just to be able to view your RSM data then we've got a deal for you. ALL of your RSM development cost may be eligible for reimbursement (contact us for details) so that your ONLY expense is your own in-house development. |
